Back to Oda Field

I finally got to run at Oda Field athletics track again. It was so good to run properly again. The knees felt OK - I'm not expecting miracles, they still feel weak and painful, but not too bad.

I didn't do much - 2 x 800 and 1 x 1,200, but that was enough, my condition is bad.

Mate, your first 800 was on fire! Not sure if that's such a good idea to grab Brett's tail but it looked damn fast. But good you showed up - we missed you! Next time I'll bring an anchor to slow you down. Save your ammo!

Thanks Ingo - I checked out your blog - great splits. You're such a careful runner, always improving, never straining. My legs felt bad after just those three efforts - cramps in my calves and groin. But I had a run today - an easy 32 minutes and the legs feel a bit better.

I'll be running the 5km next Wednesday. Of course I'll take it easy. Of course I won't try to keep up with you. Sure. You know me.

Not sure about that "careful" runner... I am doing the wildest running since I started and it won't take much at the moment to push me over the edge...
